Fast turnaround is the whole point. Every week a property sits empty and unfinished is a week of holding costs with no buyer in sight. We need a week's notice to schedule the work, and every house is fully decorated within a week of us starting. Where you also want carpets or staging, properties are ready for photographs in around two weeks on average.

Carpets & staging
Where a property needs carpets, deep cleaning or full staging, we arrange and manage this through local suppliers on your behalf at no extra cost — quoted and paid for separately, direct to the supplier by you. Allow around two weeks in total from our start date to photo-ready, since fitting and staging follow the decorating.

Every job is covered by our public liability insurance, up to £1 million.

What counts as a room: every bedroom, reception room, kitchen, bathroom, en-suite, cloakroom or WC counts as one — and hallways count separately upstairs and down, because the stairs and landing are a job in their own right. This assumes standard, competent decorating condition. Where walls need plastering or other work falls outside the scope of normal decorating, this is discussed and quoted on a case-by-case basis.

Water staining to the ceiling, a worn bedroom carpet and a neglected loft hatch were the first things a buyer would have seen. We repainted throughout, cleared and prepared the bare boards, and left the property ready to relaunch.
The customer chose not to have carpet fitted or the property staged on this one — a full repaint alone was enough to change the impression the property gave.

A heavily personalised family home — a bold magenta feature wall, dated pine furniture, and a bedroom converted into a home office — is a common starting point for us. Nothing wrong with the house itself, but very hard for a buyer to picture as their own.

A part-updated property: burgundy carpet and pink walls in one bedroom and a dated lounge, but a kitchen that had already been refitted in white gloss with wood worktops. Exactly the mixed state a lot of stock arrives in.
Rather than a full renovation, we finished the job — repainting throughout in a calming neutral grey and dressing every room with furniture and artwork, to match the standard the kitchen had already set.

A stairlift on the stairs, peach-and-orange decor, and mismatched, dated bedrooms gave this one a distinctly older-occupant feel — the kind of property that's structurally fine but reads as “grandma's house” to a young buyer walking round.
We removed the stairlift, repainted throughout in a cohesive light grey, and styled the open-plan lounge/diner and every bedroom to match — bringing it in line with what today's buyers expect to see on arrival.

The most extensive job we've taken on: an unfurnished stone terrace with bare plaster and dated fittings throughout, and a bathroom left genuinely unfinished — chipped bath, no proper tiling, exposed pipework.
We worked closely with the client, who instructed his own builder to tidy up the bathroom — that part wasn't our work. We repainted the whole house, and dressed every room with furniture and artwork. It shows what the service can do even when a property needs real work.

Marked, stained walls, black staining around the chimney breast, old shelf battens screwed to the plaster and a patchy line where the ceiling met the wall. The kind of room a buyer walks into and immediately starts adding up costs.
No new plaster, no building work: the battens came off, the walls were cleaned, filled and sanded, and the room was repainted top to bottom with the woodwork freshened up. Good preparation is what makes the finish look this clean.
Out with the 1970s cork tiles

The walls in this property were covered in cork tiles from the 1970s. Nothing wrong with the house itself, but the moment a buyer walked in it felt decades out of date — a real problem for a property that was always going to appeal to younger buyers.
We scraped the tiles back, filled the walls and made them good, then repainted throughout in a soft, light grey.
